I have over 30 years working as a senior technical writer and knowledge management specialist. During that time, I have authored operator guides, service manuals and administration guides as well as FAQs for devices and systems for a variety of manufacturing enterprises including:

• Devices and systems supporting senior living communities; devices include wearable pendants, auto-fall detect pendants, and wireless call stations; systems included the Arial platform that provides real-time alerts, notifications, and analytics for supported devices
• Mailing and inserting machines
• PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) thermal cycler instruments and liquid chromatography systems
• Fire alarm systems
• Biomedical devices and clinical test kits

I’m skilled in the use of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for revising photos, screen shots and vector graphics included in all types of guides. Equally skilled in the desktop publishing applications, FrameMaker and InDesign and in content management authoring tool, Madcap Flare.
